April 12, 2023

Board Minutes

Meeting called to order by Chairman Leis at 7:00 pm:

Pledge of Allegiance:

Roll Call:

  • Chairman Corey Leis, Supervisor #1 Bob Erickson, Supervisor #2 Fred Brandt, Town Treasurer Jan Clark, Town Clerk Sandy Schweiger.

Financial Report and Bills:

  • M/S/P: Brandt/Erickson moved to approve the Financial Report with the REMOVAL of the Fire Call to Monroe G. Miller, as per the March Board Motion. (3 ayes)
  • M/S/P: Chairman Leis/ Erickson moved to approve the 4.13.2023 transfer of $34,000.00 from Savings to Checking, $4,520.00 from Savings to Money Management, and on 4.1.2023 transfer $51.77 from Tax Savings to Regular Savings. (3 ayes)
  • M/S/P:  Chairman Leis/ Erickson moved to pay the bills. (3 ayes)

Public Comment:

Thank You to Marvin Miller:

  • Note: A Thank You letter will be mailed to Marvin Miller. He repaired the vehicle damaged Town Hall exterior display case. He did not want any compensation and was happy to donate his time and material to the Town of Clinton.

Board Action Summary On the Paul Clark Payroll Withholding Issue:

  • M/S/P: Erickson/Brandt moved to post the Board Action Summary as written and as a Current Notice on the Town of Clinton website, with the exception of not including the 11.2.2022 and the 1.11.2023 Closed Session Board Minutes. (3 ayes)
  • M/S/P: Chairman Leis/Erickson moved to give the new board members and the new clerk individual copies of the Board Action Summary. (3 ayes)

Pay Bill For Irish Ridge Road Project:

  • M/S/P: Chairman Leis/Brandt moved to pay the $500.00 bill for the Irish Ridge Road project with funds from the Line of Credit at Farmer’s Bank in Hillsboro, WI. (3 ayes)

Road Project Update:

  • No Action.

Spring Clean Up May 13, 2023:

  • Note: Spring Clean Up is on May 13, 2023 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. 2023 disposal pricing is the same as 2022. The pricing information document is available for review on the website under the Information/Trash Collection & Recycling tab.

Annual Meeting April 22, 2023:

  • Note: the meeting is on April 22, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Clinton Town Hall.
