Budget Planning Meeting
September 22, 2021
Meeting called to order at 6 pm with the pledge of allegiance. In attendance were Chairman Corey Leis, Supervisor 1 Wally Hemmersbach, Supervisor 2 Jordan Bendel, Clerk Sandy Schweiger, Treasurer Jan Clark, Alex Flores and Pandora Flores. Fred Brandt and Ranelle Brandt arrived later.
Mr. Leis indicated the board would be discussing projected expenses for 2022 with 2-minute public comment at the end.
Shared revenue will be $154,915.25, transportation aid was estimated at $150,136 and the allowable levy is $158,793. Expenditure for Irish Ridge Road is projected at $650,000.
Mr. Hemmersbach noted issues with the mower resulting in potential repair costs of $5,500.
Mr. Leis inquired about the road rating packet.
Mr. Bendel will obtain a timeline for budget resolution and hearing.
Ms. Clark noted that an adjustment to the budget is needed for next board meeting. Funds to pay bill for Scott’s Construction will not be available until November. Also need to cover costs for new culverts for Irish Ridge that were not budgeted.
Mr. Leis noted three sites qualified for flood damage reimbursement: TWP 21, Peaceful Valley and Weister Creek.
At 7:20 pm, Mr. Leis made a motion to adjourn, 2nd by both supervisors; all ayes, motion carried.
