SPECIAL MEETING
Present: Chairman Corey Leis, Supervisor 2 Fred Brandt, Clerk Sandy Schweiger, Treasurer Jan Clark, Patrolman Scot Sanders and Doug Ewing.
The properly noticed meeting was called to order by Chairman Leis at 7:00 am.
The discussion focused on the maintenance status of the grader, red truck, snow plows and backhoe The following is a summary of respective equipment maintenance costs for the near future.
Grader new front tire at approximately $1,200.00
Yellow truck plows for approximately $1,500.00
Red truck plows for approximately $1,500.00
Red truck turbo for approximately $8,000.00
Backhoe rear tires at approximately $2,000.00 each for a total $4,000.00
The current condition of the lower panels of the Town Shop main Overhead door was noted.
A possible reimbursement of approximately $4,000.00 for culverts was noted.
The increases in the price per barrel of oil on the futures market (12 month increase from $42.00 to $78.00 per barrel) was discussed in terms of ‘locking in’ near term pricing for the town’s 2022 fuel requirements.
Adjustments to the budget were discussed in conjunction with the recent $75,164.50 TRIP fund award and the need to transfer $14,703 from the Machinery Fund, and $9,657 from the Building Fund to the Revenue side of the budget.
The December board meeting agenda was discussed in the context of the following:
A closed session from 6:00 to 7:00 pm preceding the board meeting to discuss patrolman compensation
Website update progress
Adoption of the 2022 budget
Town Insurance Policy
New Building Inspector
Modified hours for the Recycle Center over Christmas and New Year’
Resolution for Wards
Poll Workers for 2022-2023
