Meeting called to order by Chairman Leis at 7:00 pm:
Pledge of Allegiance:
Roll Call:
- Chairman Corey Leis, Supervisor #1 Darin Von Ruden, Supervisor #2 Bill Stock, Town Treasurer Jan Clark, Town Clerk Lori Hemmersbach.
Financial Report and Bills:
- M/S/P: Stock/Von Ruden moved to approve the 9.21.23 transfer of $867,291.80 (grant money) from Money Management to Checking. (3 ayes)
- M/S/P: Von Ruden/Stock moved to approve the 9.21.23 transfer of $21,321.69 from the Amish Fund Savings to Checking, the 9.21.23 transfer of $40,000.00 from Money Management to Checking, the 9.21.23 transfer of $10,000.00 from Money Management to Checking, and the 9.21.23 transfer of $400.00 from Savings to Checking . (3 ayes)
- M/S/P: Stock/Von Ruden moved to approve the Financial Report. (3 ayes)
- M/S/P: Von Ruden/Stock moved to pay the bills with the addition of a check to Farmer’s State Bank for $867, 291.80, another check to Farmer’s State Bank for $21,321.69, and a check for Scott Construction for $40,000.00. (3 ayes)
Approve Minutes:
- M/S/P: Von Ruden/Stock moved to approve the 8.15.2023 Board Meeting Minutes as written and as published as a draft on the website. (3 ayes)
Public Comment:
Road Project Update:
- All planned seal coating is done.
- Graveling road as needed.
- Salt is in, delivered by Vernon County, 6 loads, approximately 120-125 tons.
2024 Budget:
- Started working on the budget.
- Went through the expense items, plugged in numbers based on last year’s budget and this year so far.
- Clerk will email update spreadsheet after meeting and email to the Board.
