Meeting called to order by Chairman Leis at 7:02 pm:

Roll Call:

Chairman Corey Leis, Supervisor #1 Darin Von Ruden, Supervisor #2 Bill Stock, Town Treasurer Jan Clark, Town Clerk Lori Hemmersbach.

Financial Report and Bills:

M/S/P: Von Ruden/Stock moved to approve the Financial Report. (3 ayes)
M/S/P: Stock/Von Ruden moved to approve the 8.16.23 transfer of $21,600.00 from Money Management to Checking and the 8.16.23 transfer of $25,845.00 from Savings to. (3 ayes)
M/S/P: Von Ruden/Stock moved to pay the bills. (3 ayes)

Approve Minutes:

M/S/P: Von Ruden/Stock moved to approve the 7.11.2023 Board Meeting Minutes as written and as published as a draft on the website. (3 ayes)

Public Comment:

Building Inspector (from General Engineering Company) get updated contact information.

Annual Audit:

Road Project Update:

All planned seal coating is done.
Grading as able (when we have moisture).
Mowing as time allows.
Salt letter came from Vernon County. Will check salt price with Cashton Farm Supply also.
Vernon County brush mower not available until Fall to do brush back along roads.

State Length of Service Program for La Farge EMS:

Looking to add pension plan for members of EMS hoping to incentivize them to continue to volunteer as there is a high burnout rate.
50% funding from State of Wisconsin, cost to Town of Clinton approximately 4% of what the cost is, estimate of $8,400 for total squad. (4%= $336.00)
Pension managed by the State.
M/S/P: Stock/Von Ruden moved to approve joining the State Length of Sevice Program for La Farge EMS. (3 ayes)
