Town of Clinton Special Board Meeting
August 10, 2026

Meeting called to order by Chairman Von Ruden at 6:30pm
Pledge of Allegiance:
Roll Call:
- Chairman Darin Von Ruden, Supervisor #1 Joe Giles, Supervisor #2 John Chapiewsky, Town Clerk Lori Hemmersbach. Town Treasurer Alyssa Daines absent.
Discuss purchase of road grader:
- Supervisor Chapiewsky found a reasonable priced road grader on an auction website. Grader located in Melrose. Scot and Darin went and looked at it. It was in very good shape overall, had some cylinder seals leaking. Has less than half the hours our current grader has on it and is newer. Bid is currently at $13,000. Auction ends at 11:20 Tuesday morning. There is a 10% buyer’s fee added to the bid.
- M/S/P: Giles/Chapiewsky moved to bid $15,000 plus 10% buyer’s fee on the grader auction. (3 ayes)
