Town of Clinton Elector’s Meeting
November 30, 2023

Minutes
Meeting called to order by Chairman Leis at 6:39 pm:
Attendance:
- All Board Members present, total of 45 electors (including Board)
Meeting Chair:
- M/S/P: For Corey Leis to Chair the meeting as it’s a People’s Meeting, so we are supposed to nominate someone to chair the meeting, by John LaDue/2nd Doug Ewing, motion passed (all ayes).
Levy:
- M/S/P: To pass the 2023 allowable levy limit of $166,890 payable in 2024 by Darin Von Ruden/2nd Wayne Leis. Voice vote. Motion passed: 43 ayes, 2 nays.
- M/S/P: To add debt service levy for $41,329 for debt payable in 2024 by Darin Von Ruden/2nd Bob Erickson. Voice vote, confirmed with show of hands. Motion failed: 31 nays, 14 ayes.
Election Workers:
- Asked anyone who was interested in being a poll worker for 2024-2026 to see the Town Clerk.
Adjourn:
- M/S/P: To adjourn at 6:49pm by Scot Sanders, 2nd by Mark Hauser. Motion passed (all ayes).
